Dr. Michael Rexine, a native of Fessenden ND, moved to Mayville in 2001 and has operated Rexine Family EyeCare since 2005. He began working at Eyes on Broadway in October of 2015 and is very excited to now be the sole owner of this wonderful practice in downtown Fargo, ND!
Dr. Rexine enjoys the opportunity to meet one-on-one with patients as he helps to improve their quality of life with better vision. His priority is the health of each individual as he strives to provide each & every patient with the very best eyecare and eyewear available.
Dr. Rexine is especially interested in the care of eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Keratoconus. He is skilled in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of these and all eye conditions.
“Dr. Mike” greatly enjoys working with “kids of all ages” as he assists with the fitting of contacts lenses or glasses to optimize your vision. As part of the InfantSEE program, Dr. Rexine will perform a vision screening for any child before their first birthday at NO CHARGE.

Dr. Rexine and his wife, Kathy, have a home in Mayville where their family of 7 children is first priority. Dr. Mike also volunteers as a youth football coach and enjoys fishing, hunting and camping in his spare time.
A native of Portland, North Dakota, Ryan Capouch graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mary in Bismarck with a degree in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Theology. He attended the Arizona College of Optometry and worked alongside leaders in the eyecare field at the Providence Veterans Affairs Medical Center, the Chicago College of Optometry, and two private clinics focused in family practice and pediatric optometry.
While completing his doctoral training, Dr. Capouch found his passion for developmental optometry, a branch of eye care that focuses on school-aged children, athletes, and brain injury patients. Having great vision is more than just glasses and contact lenses, and Dr. Capouch is excited to bring his knowledge and expertise to Eyes on Broadway!
Dr. Capouch has conducted eye-related research in the fields of pediatrics, women’s health, and skin disorders. He is also a contributor to a leading online education platform that provides resources for eye care professionals. His primary areas of interest are in children’s vision, custom contact lenses, and disease management.
Dr. Capouch is a member of the Catholic Medical Association, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, the American Optometric Association, and the North Dakota Optometric Association. When not addressing the needs of his patients, Dr. Capouch enjoys spending time with his wife, Maggie, watching college football (Go Huskers!), singing in his parish’s choir, and volunteering at various events throughout the region.
